The Vadodara city, often known as the Sanskaari Nagari, is considered one of the best cities to visit, explore, live, and even invest in! The city is quiet but never idle and empty and is the perfect mix of both; peacefulness and liveliness. The architectural beauty of the city, more often known as Baroda is very famous for its banyan trees, and in fact, that is how the city got its name. Banyan is also known as ‘Vat’ in the Gujarati language and as they used to be in a huge quantity around the city, it was initially known as ‘Vatodhara’.
Why people want to settle here
The city has some of the most valuable architectural heritage, sights to see, and is also very peaceful. Many people even want to settle here and if you are a resident for a long time, would often come up to ask for a real estate broker in Vadodara so that they can buy property as assets (as it is among the major cities) or for residential property. After all, you get a view, peaceful life with all the benefits of a big city!
What is the culture of the city like
The city culture is very vibrant and loving and you cannot help but love the city with all your heart. Every landmark, every crossroad circle etches a memory in your heart. Vadodara also hosts some of the biggest Garba fests during Navaratri. The United Way and VNF (Vadodara Navaratri Festival) are the 2 most popular places to be during these nine nights of late-night festivities.
The city culture is essentially very calm but at the same time active and energetic. The people make the culture of a place and the people of Vadodara are very kind, helpful, calm but at the same time, they are very energetic and enthusiastic.

The Laxmi Vilas Palace: The Laxmi Vilas Palace is considered the most beautiful place in Vadodara and very few people know that it is four times the size of Buckingham Palace and has around 170 rooms that were built for the Maharaja and the Queen!
The Sursagar Lake: This beautiful lake is situated near the market and is often a respite to the eyes from the packed view of the market.
Vadodara Central: The Central mall is one of the earliest most famous shopping centres in the city. However, now a lot of other shopping malls have opened up and they have become quite a spot during public holidays and festivals, like Inorbit.
